The Strategic Partners Group (SPG) is a broad-based BEE company, formed in 2002 by a group of 12 organizations and individuals. The Group was formed primarily to partner the Bombela Consortium that is responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of South Africa’s biggest ever legacy construction project, Gautrain Project. The company is used as a vehicle to pursue investment opportunities in the construction, financial services, telecoms, resources, education, transportation, lotteries and mining industries.
