Allianz Capital Partners was set up in 1998 and is the Allianz Group's in-house investment platform for alternative investments, with an investment volume of around EUR14.9 billion (US$17 billion). Allianz Capital Partners has offices in Munich, London, New York and Singapore and currently employs a workforce of around 100.

Allianz Capital Partners focuses its investments on the following asset classes:

  • Direct investments: Companies, projects or assets, offering long-term, predictable and preferably inflation-protected cash flows
  • Renewable Energy: Wind farms and solar park systems
  • Indirect investments: Investments in private equity
